I’ve never been to counseling before. What can I expect?

Counseling sessions are personalized to ensure you feel comfortable and supported. I recommend completing the contact form or calling our office to discuss the best type of sessions for you. 

What can I expect during the first session?

Your first session will be relaxed and informal, allowing both you and the counselor to get to know each other. You will complete the intake paperwork beforehand to provide the necessary details. During the session, we’ll review your paperwork, address any questions, and discuss your future goals. No preparation is needed for your first visit. 

Is counseling forever?

Therapy is a tool that helps you access your inner strengths. Everyone's journey is unique, and our goal is to support you for as long as you need. Some clients benefit from long-term relationships, while others may return after taking breaks when challenges arise. We’re always happy to reconnect with past clients, whether you want to resume sessions or just share a life update. 

How do I know if I need counseling?

Counseling can help anyone facing challenges, traumas, or simply wanting someone to talk to. If you’ve considered counseling, it’s likely that you would find it beneficial.
